Welcome to the Ciliau Aeron Community Council website. Ciliau Aeron Community Council represents an area in the heart of Ceredigion that is part of Dyffryn Aeron. The main villages within the Council area are Ciliau Aeron and Cilcennin.
In 2011 the Ciliau Aeron Community Council area included 901 people over 3 years of age, with 483 (53.6%) of these able to speak Welsh. There are 375 households within the Council area, and 69% of the population aged 17 to 64 that live in the area are either in part-time or full-time employment. 58% of residents within the area were born in Wales.

Council Meetings
The Council meets on the second Thursday of every month, except for August, at 7.30pm in Cilcennin and Ciliau Aeron halls alternately. Council meetings are open to members of the public who are more than welcome to attend. Meetings are usually held through the medium of Welsh.
